VIAGRA CONNECT
viagra Connect® is a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction (ED) containing 50mg of sildenafil. It is available to patients over 18 years with ED directly from pharmacy without a doctor’s prescription.

Erection problems can put a strain on relationships. They can also be a warning sign of a health condition or disease you might not be aware of. That’s why it’s important to take action and find a solution for your ED.
HOW DOES VIAGRA CONNECT® WORK?
Viagra Connect® relaxes the blood vessels of the penis so more blood can flow into it. That means you can get an erection when you’re sexually aroused. After sex, your erection will go away as it would normally.
Viagra Connect® gets to work quickly
Viagra Connect® is quickly absorbed - it takes 30–60 minutes to work. Do not take more than 1 tablet a day.
When you take it with a meal that has a lot of fat in it, like a burger and chips, your body will take longer to absorb Viagra Connect®.
IS VIAGRA CONNECT® RIGHT FOR YOU?
Who it’s for: Viagra Connect® is for adult men (over 18 years of age) who have erectile dysfunction (ED).
Who it isn’t for: If you are a woman, a man under 18, or do not have ED, then Viagra Connect® isn’t the right treatment for you.
Are you taking other medicines? Some medicines can interact with Viagra Connect®, so you’ll be asked what else you might be taking before you can buy it.
Do you have any other health conditions? Some men will have issues with their health that make Viagra Connect® unsuitable for them. This is why you’ll be asked a few straightforward questions about your health before you can buy it.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I VISIT THE PHARMACY TO GET VIAGRA CONNECT®?
A consultation with the pharmacist is required before any supply of Viagra Connect® can be made. We have private consultation rooms in our pharmacy.
Although ED is just another condition that we deal with, we appreciate that some men may be uncomfortable in requesting treatment. We want to make it as easy as possible for you.
You can ask to speak to the pharmacist when you visit the store and you only need to tell them why you are there.
. As part of completing this form you can also request a call from the pharmacist so that further advice and guidance can be provided over the phone. This will reduce your in-store consultation time with the pharmacist, which is very beneficial during the current Covid-19 epidemic. (You will still need to visit the pharmacy in person to collect your medication)
- we need to ask about any current medication and health conditions to ensure Viagra Connect® is a safe and appropriate treatment for you.
When you get Viagra Connect® we will give you a repeat supply slip. If you bring this in with you the next time you need to make a purchase, the pharmacist doesn’t need to ask all of the same questions again. They will verify that nothing has changed since your last purchase before making the supply.
The pharmacist will advise you to get a health check-up with your doctor as soon as you can within 6 months of first receiving Viagra Connect®. This is to check for any underlying medical problems that can sometimes be associated with erectile dysfunction.

Flu vaccine for children
Influenza (flu) is a very infectious illness caused by the flu virus. Flu spreads easily and infects both children and adults.
Children are more likely than adults to get severe complications of flu.
Children who are sick with flu miss days in crèche, childcare and school. They also miss out on their usual activities such as hobbies and sports.
Children aged 2 to 17 can get the nasal flu vaccine for free.
The vaccine is given as a single spray in each nostril of your child's nose.
Lost Or Forgotten Medication
There is nothing more frustrating than having your luggage lost or stolen when on holidays, especially when it contains your medication, or if you simply forget to bring your medication with you on your trip. Our Pharmacists are available to assist you in making sure that a replacement supply can be obtained as soon as possible.
Prescription Call & Collect

If you are concerned about misplacing your prescription or want to have your medicines ready for you in advance then you can store your prescription safely in our pharmacy. You can then just call or e-mail in advance to order your medicines and we will have them ready for you to collect whenever it suits. We will also inform you when your prescription is due to expire so you have plenty of time to get it renewed.
Emergency contraception

We supply two types of emergency hormonal contraception. Norlevo® which can be used for up to 72 hours following sexual intercourse and Ellaone® which can be used up to 120 hours following sexual intercourse. Our pharmacist will determine, following private consultation, which medicine is most suited for you. As of July 2017 we are also able to supply emergency contraception free of charge to anyone with a valid medical card.
